Honestly...not good. Cold and wet. 70% chance of rain. Although, he will hopefully get good weather on the non-gameday activities.

Interesting. I will make sure I do a rain dance every morning this weekend. :groove2: You know Arizonan's don't like cold weather or rain!

All very good high school prospects should play their college football at schools in Arizona because that will better prepare them for if they are good enough to play in the NFL and maybe play in Green Bay, Buffalo, Foxboro, etc.:)

If given the opportunity, I think most athletes would prefer to play their sport in nice weather vs. bad weather. No matter what sport it is.

Maybe thats the case if all things between schools are equal. In this case they are not: Coaching, national exposure, fans, atmosphere, nfl talent, chance for championships.............

These things will likely decide where he goes to school, not weather.

As you saw - I kept it very general because I knew someone would bring up everything besides weather. I was making a very simple fact that anyone would rather play in warmer weather than bad weather. Remember that USC is going after Corey Adams and they do make everything else equal and offer warm weather and celebrities on the sidelines.

I think he'll see that 110,000 people showed up for a cold, rainy game and be more impressed with that than he is worried about the weather.

Weather is probably going to be something he doesn't think about much after the game starts, because the atmosphere he'll be in is going to be like nothing I've seen before. :wink2:

I dont think this in necessarily think that ANYONE would like to play in warmer weather. Many feel that Ohio's climate is he climate that football is supposed to be played in. You're generalizations are not factual.

Since this will probably be split soon anyway...

I've never met a football player that didn't love, at least once in awhile, playing in the slop, snow, cold, rain, mud, muck, and wind. It's where the real men seperate themselves from the boys. Nasty weather is what seperates football from all the other sports. There are no rain delays, no tarps to cover the field, and if lightning couldn't kill you, they'd play during an electric storm. Heck, even Minny is switching to an open stadium.
