Like Terrelle Pryor's gonna be just that guy from Pennsylvania.
It has to be put into context, including the program. It was awesome to keep Daequan Cook & David Lighty home, and help bring in other premiere talent. Too much great local bball talent had escaped, and the last head coach didn't like the one and done types.reagdog;1268554; said:Is it any sweeter when the guy who succeeds is from Ohio? Being an Ohio HS superstar helps increase status coming into OSU, but our Pennsylvania star named Pryor could overtake all of JT's premiere 5-star ohioans, Clarett, Ginn, Beanie, etc in terms of status.
I think it's a bigger deal in recruiting circles and the excitement leading into college than when they actually arrive. For a program in the process of building, that portion is enormous, and takes on a lot more importance than it will once the dynasty is built. If Georgia born Antonio Henton had carved up Michigan in 04, 05 & 06 instead of Troy, he would be adored in similar fashion.
