My friend, you've been reading too many urban legend e-mails. Solar panels do NOT supply power back to the grid.
I've seen shows within the last two to three years to the contrary. Solar & wind grid connections (refunds, credits, and meters spinning backwards) have been available in (I believe) New Mexico and Arizona for a number of years. I would imagine this is part of a comprehensive energy plan for those states as well as Nevada and California. I've seen such homes, and details of their construction, on a number of shows on the History Channel and ABC's Extreme Home Makeover.

Damn it Mili, Ty Pennington said it's true. :p

Wow $2.79...you got a steal...here it is about $3.19

...and I thought it was more expensive down south...well at least Georgia
I've been really suprised how "cheap" it's been down here.... Tampa is running about 12 cents cheaper than this area. But that should change by the weekend. Deisel has been hard to come by down here... several truck drivers have told me they had to wait in line for like an hour just to fill up.
