I think it's time to not only crack into the oil reserves.......but let that fucker flow for a while!

I find it amusing that congress just passed an energy bill.........where you had dems and republicans stuffing it with more pork than Rosie O'Donnell. You read about the bill and all the additions that are stuck in it.......all a fucking waste. We've got all this money going into..to steal a word from Rummy......."old" technology. None of this shit is new.......and yet our government caters to each and every company, it's all sick......I mean this in a non partisian way too.

What puzzles me is that we have the technology to put man in outer space.....the technology to blow up underground bunkers with bombs........the technology to put a fucking bomb down someone's chimney if they feel like it.....and the ability to pull up someones house on a picture taken from a space satellite. We've came up with all of these great things, and advancements throughout time.....but we cannot figure out a better way to make a car run more efficiently, and other ways to power our transportation? Bullshit.

Unfortunately we have found a few ways but they aren't paying off due to the fact that the gov't relies so heavily on the gas tax for $ ... no matter who is in charge...but yes we need to start letting the reserves flow cause the second we stop buying is the second OPEC is fucked...China can't single-handedly keep them going

at the end of this week the schools in orange county, fl are gonna cut some of the bus routes out.


and second im supprised this hasn't been brought up but from where i sit (i may be way of base) the gas stations are price gouging(sp?). most of these station that are demanding your first born for a gallon of gas bought there fuel at least a few days ago at a lower price so now they are making a larger profit. our prices shouldn't go up till theirs go up.

I saw on the news were one gas station put up a picture of an arm for regular gas and a leg for premium. I thought it was pretty funny that even the people running the gas stations realize the prices are fucking outrageous. I think I am about to get my fuckin bike out.

I know my gpa went and bought a battery charged golf cart to drive around town so he don't waste gas.

mili alluded to it, but maybe you guys didn't get it.

The oil companies buy up the patents for fuel-efficient cars that are invented. This isn't a conspiracy, it happens.

Therefore, all of the new technology that is invented is not usable.

I haven't seen that anywhere here. It's pretty pathetic when I was excited yesterday to get it for $2.69/ gallon.
