AFC Championship Game: Ravens at Steelers(-4.5)

They can win with Flacco I'm just not convinced they will. He's had a number of plays with more than enough time and simply failed to convert.

The way this is going, they may need 1 drive to win, with about 25 yards from their quarterback. Troy might be better able to pick that up on the ground than Flacco's shaky passing.
Thats right jwins. but from what I've seen I don't think he is going to be able to make a play. Remember the play that set up their td was a kick return and a PI call.

I just don't see this Flacco hype what so ever. Call me bitter about him starting over Troy due to sickness, but in the playoffs he hasn't exactly set the world on fire. Now for a rookie, yes he shouldn't be setting the world on fire but I mean who WOULD LOSE with that defense they have? Not to mention a physical oline with good running backs....

IN the playoffs Flacco's numbers aren't very strong at all. 1 td and 1 INT? There team was LUCKY to get past Tennessee and the defense was just down right dominant against the Dolphins... Seriously with Troy or Flacco the team is in the same position. I attribute none of their success what so ever to Joe Flacco.

Hey Mr. Bitter, Flacco has done a hell of a job through the reg season and in getting them to this game. I can't anything bad about him at all. He's a rookie against the best D in the NFL.

I don't mean to skip over the levity of the situation, but what is the difference between McGahee catching that football and getting blasted and it being ruled a fumble vs. Santonio catching it, tucking the football, and reaching it across the goalline until the ball hit the ground and was jarred loose??

I think judging by the way Santonio's catch was called, McGahees catch should be ruled incomplete.

you can't take big hits out of the game. McGahee was a carrier of the ball, and the defender launched himself to make the tackle.

If you want to take head hits out of the game, you have to do what Mike Ditka suggested and go back to leather helmets without facemasks.
