I have been increasingly getting more and more pop in adds when I go to different threads. I attached an example of a recent one today. Is this something on my side or BPs. I notice a lot of Target adds popping in as well...

If that's the targeted ad you're getting from the home improvement thread, I'd greatly appreciate if you'd post some screen caps of the targeted ads you receive in the Reds 2014 official thread of windshield licking.

Chrome on the iPhone 5s pops this up almost every page:

It is an ad that auto loads to full size. I can scroll it and close it down, but it is annoying. Clearing cache/history doesn't seem to help the auto sizing.

Someone will have attached an image to the thread from a compromised site. I need to know what thread you could that in.

I've turned off the few mobile ads that had been added to us through an old remnant provider they should all be gone. If you continue to see this in a couple hours, I'm going to need to know what normal ads are on the pages you get this interstitial, so I can figure out where and how it's piggybacking. My hope is this is gone.

My Avast has stopped

Infection:URL:Mal

from loading multiple times this AM

What ads were showing when you got this?

Okay. I've gone through my battery of checks, and the site itself isn't compromised. There may be a thread that has an image linked from a compromised site. That will spook some browsers, but there's virtually no risk of infection. As soon as someone can point me to the problem thread, I'll find and delete the offending image link.

@Buckeyeskickbuttocks -- yours can really only be an ad. If you get it again, I'll need (as above) to know what other ads are showing on the page. Ideally, if it happens more that once, what ad was the common denominator.

Thanks, all. Sorry about the issues.

I only saw that from that one page, and it happened every single time (which makes sense if it was an image and not a rotating ad).

If you remember which page, or if it happens again, you can either edit that link out of the user's post, or I'll be happy to go do it. Usually I load the page, click View Source, and then use that to figure out which posts it's in. Then I just edit the post and delete the link.

@Clarity I'll get back to you if it happens again. No longer on home laptop, so it may be a while.

Thanks! I'm hoping it's already been resolved. Clearly a bad ad in the system, and usually they're very fast in terms of resolving them.
