Just what the fuck was the issue between frosted tips and this tweet anyway? I don't think I've ever fully understood just what the fuck this was all about anyway. I mean, why did frosted tips get his shorts in a bunch about desmond fucking howard anyway?

Herbstreit used worked there (instead of just using an ISDN), so maybe he inherently didn't like some of his fellow employees and jumped at the opportunity to bury those he didn't like (inside).

On the bright side, I'm just guessing someone will be Tweeting the exact same comment (the one in question) to both Desmond Howard on a daily/weekly basis just to mess with him. If Herbstreit didn't shut down his Twitter, he'd be in the same boat.

Just an FYI....Herbstreit jumped back on twitter a few weeks ago. I'm sure he's been welcomed back by the Buckeye faithful. :biggrin:

This was Herbie last week when he was on with Rothman:

Apparently the first person in the Howard household to read the tweet was Desmond's young daughter, who wanted to know why somebody wished her daddy was dead. Desmond's wife had several direct tweets to Torg last weekend asking him if he had any children.

Ricordati gave his 'I'm a 1460 lifer and I'm not going anywhere' speech and said he'll soldier on. Mentioned working his way up from Lunch with the Linebacker with Spiels ten years ago and he's sorry to see Torg go, but the show will go on. T-Bone filling in today.

After that little monologue to open the show, they went right into the John Davidson hiring news. It's rather funny too since neither one of them know anything about hockey -- that was Torg's role. :lol: They did announce that Davidson will be on in-studio at 5:32 today if anyone wants to catch that.
