Yep, I believe we need to get Braxton in there if we want the best shot to win. He just zips balls into some of the tightest holes that I've seen watching high school ball. He also brings a running threat unlike we've seen before at the QB position. He's just so elusive and quick and also possesses great speed. We are truly lucky to have Braxton coming in early next year.

I don't care if they agree with me. And yes, I think 25 - 30 a year is reasonable compensation for their age, skills, etc. They're not just getting that, by the way. They're getting high quality instruction for free (speaking just about the game of football) etc..pharaz1;1839496; said:

Agree. I don't think the system when applied reasonably is flawed, however. But, I wholeheartedly would agree with you that the NCAA (as a body) does not implement the system well.
You're free to think that, of course, and I don't anticipate changing your mind. I just disagree. While I see serious problems with the NCAA, I do not believe its purpose is incorrect. More directly, I believe in amateur sports. I believe it is about a LOT more than sports.
Yes, colleges and others make a ton of money. But, they also make a considerable investment. I don't have a problem with them making money off it. That money is - to my knowledge - funneled back into the university. That is to say, Ohio State University does not operate for profit. They provide opportunity.

These guys made a mistake, thats obvious.
Do they deserve the criticism that has been heaped upon them? Yes they do. Are they still a member of the Buckeye family? Yes, they are. Here's what I think a good sized portion of our fanbase is forgetting: These guys that your obsessing about, cussing about, and depressed about because they broke the rules, because they got suspended for 5 games, because they put OSU in such a bad position in terms of public perception and in terms of the the first 5 games of next season, are still Buckeyes. They've put their heart, sweat, and blood into this program, with the most senior of this group being around for 4 consecutive Big Ten Championships, a national championship berth, 4 consecutive BCS Bowls, 4 consecutive wins over Michigan, 4 consecutive 10 win seasons, and a combined record of 43-8.
Don't forget fellas... Once a Buckeye, Always a Buckeye. Tressel welcomed back MoC with open arms. Schembechler coached TSUN and yet he still got one of the best standing ovations I've ever seen from a Buckeye crowd. These guys made a mistake, and they deserve the criticism their getting, but lets remember they are forever apart of our Buckeye family.
