I'd say 35.....

I didn't see the game, though, so maybe it was simply that they got their threes at critical times, making it seem like they were hitting more than they really were.

buckeyeboy;692469; said:Unfortunately I have only seen a few of our games this year. However, I have taken note that Butler doesn't seem to be the player that he was last year. In the last six games, he's only taken 6, 4, 5, 4, 6, and 2 shots, respectively. I am beginning to wonder whether, especially as the year goes on and Conley gets more comfortable playing at the college level, there isn't a spot for Butler with the first team, because he can play the point well, but not the 2-guard.
I really think this is an unfortunate circumstance not only for Butler but also for OSU, as I think he's a phenomenal point guard--he handles the ball well, had a ridiculous assist to turnover ratio last year, shoots well, and plays great defense.
Any thoughts from people who have seen more of our games this year?

that's something that i definitely noticed by watching the cincy game in person. though you can note his hustle and ability on screen, seeing in person his impact on the defensive end sheds a lot of light on why he starts and plays substantial minutes. i'm sure, too, that matta understands that even though butler is not putting up the points now, his backcourt leadership and points will be needed later in the season. butler is a shooter. he's a scorer. it's only a matter of time until we see the payout of his off-season work, which resulted in making 93 of 100 three-point attempts during a practice sesson.crazybuckfan40;692552; said:Neither one plays D like Butler tho... but his D can not be matched on the permieter by anyone on the team except for maybe Lighty
