I'm no Arthur Smith but I'm sure the answer involves TEsIt's going to be interesting to see how Arthur Smith plans to keep the USC defense off balance. Hopefully we don't abandon the deep passing game all together but those plays always take time to develop. As always, our OL is going to be the key to our success on the field.
No doubt. The question is how many ....I'm no Arthur Smith but I'm sure the answer involves TEs
I know the source isn't popular but this is a good breakdown. The TEs have to be better!
The main thing they really need to do from the start is utilize Fahey as a runner and make it clear that they will utilize him as a runner. The threat of a running QB can really help open up other things. He's not Braxton or anything but he is capable.
Just sayin': I'm guessing that the coaches will not want Fahey to do too much running as it would expose him to injury. Needless to say, the last thing we want is another QB out with a serious injury. If he does do any running he should be instructed to slide feet first and/or get out of bounds before taking a bad hit. I really don' t think our QB3 (i.e. TSC) could pull off what "12-Gauge" did.
If they manage Luke against USC the same way (conservative) they managed Julian against Texas do we come out with a win?Think it's just a risk you got to take. Playing it too safe is probably going to cost you just as much as him getting hurt and having to play a 3rd QB.

I don’t know Daniel’s was beat from the snap and that was just one of multiple times.Honestly Everytime I watch that play I don't blame the RT or the Tight end. Julian should see that pressure as it's not coming from his blindsided and step up into the giant pocket there and the DE should blow harmlessly by.
AgreedYou can be "conservative" when it comes to taking too many big risks, but you can't be "conservative" in the run up the middle, run up the middle, hope to hit a pass on 3rd down kind of way. They probably lose if they go that route.
Didn’t we bring in someone in the portal that has game experience. I thought I remember a QB coming in if we had, god forbid, injuries.
