His last name is Beck......so it's probably a good idea. But then how does that go down? You force your stop gap head coach to fire his hand picked OC that he brought with him from Utah. He's gonna be on board for that move? Sure. Do that.
Not only that it's amusing they talk about their offense under Moore and Harbaugh like it was some masterclass. No your offense always sucked guys it was hiring a top 10 in NFL defensive coordinator gifted by his brother and then giving him the offensive calls on top of that made the thing go.

Not your 1990s ass offense. That and they think they have top 15 talent on offense that's just funny

Its almost like Whittingham and Beck had no clue what kind of offensive talent they had when they took their positions. Neither RB fits what they've had success with in the past. And the WRs they paid a bunch for(Marsh and Ffrench) don't fit the scheme where they need to be solid blockers, and the threat of the run(there is none) is supposed to spring them free for deep passes. With the run not being able to succeed, the passing game becomes almost non existent. Its going to be a long season dealing with this offense, since Beck also needs to treat Underwood with kid gloves as well. He can't trust him to read defenses, and make his own reads, so every RPO has already been chosen when the play is called, that's missing the most important part of the RPO, the Option. It almost reminds me of the spread offense RichRod tried to implement, and could never get his players because he had too many remnants of Carr's teams. Ad that's where Whittingham is now, trying to fit a round peg in a square hole

If Underwood starts against the pedsters then Whittingham is essentially throwing in the towel and admitting that the team belongs to Underwood and his backers.

I'm even more sure than I originally was that Wittingham is just there to cash out before retirement and tsun brass knows it.

That was the deal, "you come and keep us out of the next half a billion dollar scandal for a few years, cash some fat checks and we don't really expect much on the field".

No doubt in my military mind as we used to say.
