I think we'll end up with 5 SEC teams. Since they'll avoid conference matchips in the 1st round, we're pretty much looking at an SEC invitational for the first round. They fall on their face, and it'll be glorious. If they win 3 or 4 we'll never hear the end of it.

This worked out so well for last year's #1 seed.

It should have worked out. They didn't count on the best team being an 8-seed.
Note that I strategically used the word "theoretically".
