2025 College Football Playoffs Discussion (12 Team Format)

I would like to put my two cents in that every game except the National Championship should be held at the higher seed's home stadium.

Is that a strong enough platform to run for President? Asking for a friend.
Do you even SEC or ESPN?
1. Did you see what happened last year? Tennessee unfairly had to go to Columbus in -25 degree snowstorm with 170mph winds. I mean, it was so cold that Tennessee's helmets were cracking. That doesn't happen in a dome or neutral stadium. This is a player safety thing.
2. There was another game in South Bend, Indiana. Luckily, it was just Indiana who had to play there. Can you imagine if Alabama had been in their rightful place in the playoff and had to play in South Bend? I mean... they might have lost.
3. Same thing with Penn State. It was just SMU so we aren't too worried. But it could have been any real team having to play there.
4. I guess it won't matter too much this year. The byes aren't guaranteed to go to the conference champions, if I understand it correctly. So Seeds 1-8 can all go to SEC teams, and all games can be in the real world of college football. But, you never know - there might be a strange year where.... oh.... I don't know.... maybe someone as far north as maybe West Virginia might get ranked in the top 8. It's possible. We need to make sure that there's no way anyone north of Kentucky could ever host another game.
