DFBIA would hilariously cry to no ends about it but the NCAA should absolutely take this into account. If they manage to be 11-1 and on the brink of making the playoff and NCAA decision time falls in November, you absolutely ban them right away. If they are 8-4 and Music City Bowl bound then you let them play and start the postseason ban in the 2025 season.

Honestly, if they weren't blinded by their arrogance and victimhood fetish, they would have already self-imposed. Fucking victimhood-goblins.

I wouldn't put it past them to try to self impose at as close to zero hour as they can get, when it's at the point where it's clear they can no longer ignore and deny. If they do try that hopefully the NCAA has the grit to tell them to fuck off with that shit.

That would be up their alley but pretty transparent and to work needs to be in the context of having cooperated. Plus, I don't think Ono is capable of making any tough decision that would harm his popularity with the team. He really is an emotionally damaged jock-sniffer.

Even if we are only talking about off ramps that open up after this season. Who would have him? He’s coming with a giant show-cause millstone around his neck.

He's an operator. I'll give him that, but after this debacle, he would need to take a big step down from tsun. Nobody of equal stature or even the next two tiers down will touch him. He apparently was actually a pretty well regarded scientist before he decided to Peter Principle himself into administration. Perhaps, he goes back to that because he's a walking clusterfuck as a university President.
