Started the year off with a tissue soft OOC schedule and then fired up the Stalions operation when B1G games started. It might literally be less legit than the BYU title from the 80s.
They got to keep playing and won the title, that's getting away with it in itself. They could make them forfeit every game from 21-23 but DFBIA wont care, they still got to witness the title and it would just lead to years of the same "HANG THE BANNERS" crap they did with the Fraud 5.
Funny that multiple of the biggest cheating scandals in college sports in our lifetime happened at the place where they claim to play by the rules while everyone else but them cheats.
Probably. Stalions had done his scouting by that point, and I'm sure that he was more than willing to turn over his laminates to the coaching staff and prep them behind the scenes. They were certainly still cheating without him for the Sparty game. The one thing that makes me question that theory after that game though is the absolute cliff that Spin Pass fell off of after the Sparty game.
