Not cooperating seems like it will end well for them considering Harbaugh already got himself in trouble for not cooperating with the other ongoing investigation.
Hey I’m here for it myself.

Go ahead and get loud and crazy Michigan.

Seriously go ahead. They’re daring both the big ten and NCAA to do something. If they have the evidence for all this they’ll remember these moments that you failed to cooperate.

For Michigan, this is really their only choice but not sure it has to be this obvious a thumb in the eye. They’ve learned their lesson (frankly one we could’ve learned long ago) that the only way you for sure get punished is if you admit it and accept it.

This is their only avenue to potentially avoid massive repercussions

The problem is they didn't go full SEC we know nothing they suspended Stallions. So now they have to rely on the well you're stupid enough to believe he was a rogue actor right

I'm not believing any of this, but what's the accusation? That he was on the field to get a look at Michigan State's signals? What good does that do unless he has a photographic memory? That he was helping CMU by giving them his signals? Michigan State won 31-7. If he wanted a good look at Sparty's signs, we know he buys tickets to games. Why would he risk all of this?

Controlled experimentation, best I can figure.

If youve been gathering Intel on Sparty, far more than what they would suspect, and want to gauge the integrity of said Intel over the course of an off-season, then that would actually be a great game to recon and probe.

A couple CMU buddies wouldn't rat you out if you were cool enough to hit them with a couple calls. They get something out of it, you get something out of it and everyone stays hush. It gives you a baseline on what calls are accurate, but what all might have changed. From there it can be reasonable to suspect that other coaching staffs might have similar changes to their signal structure and where your Intel now has 'gaps'.

Plus, close to home. No travel cost, no ticket cost, no digital or paper trail.

I mean....if that's what it is, that's a pretty damning accusation to make. That's a lot of hot water for a lot of people.

It's actually pretty logical, and not at all shocking, when you consider it's basically treated like intel being shared between agencies.
When this first broke the story was a vast spy network... What is more logical that Michigan hired a computer hacker to get into our server or that this fucktard is connected to other peon fucktards working up the ladder

Edit: in a cutthroat business it does stand a reason you would look for an edge as a young up and coming coach to prove your worth to the big boys at the table. I doubt any of them walked in and said look I stole signs, but if they're all using inside information pretending to be the smartest guy in the room I can see that

Edit 2: voice to text sorry boys

Yeah saw they were moving forward with the contract?

That seems like a real bold move and a big “fuck you” to the NCAA and the Big Ten.

I think that’ll be accounted for when they decide a punishment
Who else is saying they are moving forward on hairball's contract? The only thing I've seen is a tweet from Balas ( not known for being the most reliable scummmer) saying "expecting positive news" all while shilling for paid subscriptions. Edit: Didn't see the post about Detroit media saying it, but did they get that from here?

97.1 Detroit reporting that Michigan is moving forward with Harbaugh contract extension.

I think this a Team Harbaugh planted story (fake) with the hope that it knocks the Porn Name/CMU/MSU story out of the headlines.
Or Harbaugh has a couple of high profile Regents/donors in his camp who've gone to the mattresses, and JuggalOno is bending to the prevailing winds. What's Harbaugh's relationship with Ross like.
