I agree. The comish is probably hoping Penn State takes care of some of his business. That is some weak sauce coming of the Big Ten offices if true.

I see this like a poker game.

The B1G indicated the strength of its hand to see what Ono’s reaction would be.

They came back with the Chewbacca Dissertation.

He’s now trying to keep a straight face and go over with his legal team all the possible scenarios before he lays his 4 aces down.

Have faith. These things never go as quick as you’d hope.

The problem is the NCAA I think is still going to do something because of the verbiage about Jim being responsible for porn coach.

I know we all think this is the green light, but everything that is accused here is still against the rules.

I think what this whole situation proves is there needs to be some sort of process that can expedite for current violations occurring in real time. Because right now the NCAA moves too slow and the Big Ten doesn’t have a clear system for something like this.

So it’s pretty damn unfortunate and at this point you just have to hope somebody beats them in these last three weeks. I have to be honest though I don’t think they’re going to lose to anyone in the Big Ten. There is just some thing, oddly evil and corrupt about this team in Ann Arbor that leads me to believe somehow they’re just going to give us all the finger on the way out toward a multiple year bowl ban, vacated losses and Jim/all the players leaving.

I fully expect the Big Ten to have the last laugh when TCUN eventually gets punished by the NCAA. I expect vacated wins, scholarships, lost, a show cause, and a Bowl ban. It just blows that this team with these players and coaches won’t face the music.

Yeah.... I think everybody has put too much credence on the B1G, because typically conferences don't involve themselves in matters like these.

The NCAA is still looming out there in a huge way. This is not going away by any measure.

Dude, at this point, I would fully expect Harbaugh and any other coaches suspended to just show up anyways. And they'd do it with Ono's full public backing. What's Petitty going to do? Send in the Pinkertons?

Then of course there is the FBI and that former assistant that was doing bad things.

Every judge in Michigan will fling open their doors in the middle of the night to process any action Michigan proposes.

Even if nothing comes of this I am glad they made Michigan push back. Makes UM look that much worse when all comes out.

The Big Ten rules are very black and white and more than sufficient. Scum is choosing to ignore them. The due process defense is absolute bullshit.

Yeah, I have read some of the stuff in here today and think everyone wants their flesh NOW! But, a more measured and reasoned response certainly comes as clean hands to any "legal action."
