ESPN is saying that Stalions ‘resigned’, they’re not saying he was fired.
Not sure it matters, but it seems odd.
It probably went something like: if you don't want the weight of the university to come down on you, it would be wise to just resign type of conversation.ESPN is saying that Stalions ‘resigned’, they’re not saying he was fired.

I’m guessing he got more than his annual salary of $55k to sign an NDA.Welp, you don't fire someone after an investigation unless you have evidence to defend a wrongful discharge suit.
Any bets on whether he got a nice severance in exchange for signing an NDA?

Which is a bad look for Xichigan.ESPN is saying that Stalions ‘resigned’, they’re not saying he was fired.

Is this a reverse Zach Smith move?I'm afraid this isn't real.....because things never break this much in one team's favor. This is all anybody could have ever asked for

You are assuming the “real power brokers” aren’t also these idiots on Twitter/x, message boards, Facebook, etc. Hell, even their elected Board of Regents member was fanboi-ing like he puts the athletic department over the university. As someone else stated earlier, I despise UM sports with the intensity of 1000 suns, but had some amount of respect for the school itself. At what point do the real power brokers there step in to try to preserve the reputation of the University? They can't be happy with the way public perception is turning.
