Nebraska used to do that under Osborne and Solich, but the defensive substitution rule has limited the effectiveness of this method of calling plays. It can still work, but you'd better be sending the guy onto the field and anyone else personal wise you want to sub in as soon as possible after the last play ended.

Outside of Michigan and a few key idiots in the media most feel this way.

Yet the NCAA and Big just have no urgency here to move.

I agree now that there’s just too much money at play for them to be motivated to do anything this year. It’s a shame because this really is the biggest corruption ring ever assembled in sports history but guess we get to wait until after the year

I’ve been assuming most who said this wasn’t a big deal initially didn’t actually know anything about the specific allegations and assumed it was ‘just’ sign stealing from sideline to sideline during an actual game.

They’re still all assholes for going on record about something they didn’t look into at all, but at least some are apparently willing to change their tune when they do learn the actual details of the situation.
