It really is. Especially considering none of the information that’s came out on them is illegally obtained (to the NCAA or the law) they are basically holding out hope though that “somebody hacked them” or some of the ludicrous shit they’ve been claiming. They know that’s possibly their only out here, it’s a sad display of desperation and denial.
Shoot even if let’s say that wild rumor is true and “OMG the buckeyes hacked the system”. Who gives a shit you still broke close to 80 rules in total over 3 years

The more I think about it, the more frustrated I'd get if they are allowed to play in the conference championship game. This isn't "Hey, their cheating was years ago, not this year." This is, "They were cheating up to and maybe including the Michigan State game." This year. They have the chance to keep them out of the conference championship game. Allowing them in and then trying to take the game away after they've won it is almost the worst thing you can do. (The worst thing they can do is nothing.)
"Up to and maybe including the MSU game". Whose to say they aren't just gonna keep doing it? Sure, Porn Name Marine is gone. but we're 3/4 of the way thru the regular season. They probably already have the data they need on PSU and OSU, which are the only two games really standing in their way. I hate those fucks up north for making me root for PSU next week instead of wishing for their demise like I always have.

They allegedly have 50+ hours of our practice footage.

Yep. Everyone who still has to play Michigan has to completely change EVERYTHING. They already have all the goods they need on everyone.

One would think they won't be able to do any further data mining, but considering how stupidly this all went down in the first place, i'd say they are probably dumb enough to keep it going somewhat even without Marine boy leading the charge anymore.

To be completely safe you probably have to just put together a little each week for Michigan leading up to the game, don't use it in any other games though just incase they still have some sort of operation going. This likely is not a easy task though, as it interferes with your preparation for the other opponents before the Michigan game.

The rest of the season is already compromised even if they nuke scUMs coaching staff, the players still know. Now it might not be as easy to put it all together without the coaching staff there to orchestrate everything, but the players still know.

Totally agreed. They’ve taken so much already.

You cannot let them potentially take another title only to have it vacated.

I think again what they have to weigh is…. If they’re going to make them ineligible for the post season is it worth them playing at all? Can’t risk them also bouncing us from the playoffs.

So I think if they do anything this year they’ll just shut them down and then fine Michigan for all the TV money

Any theories on how they acquired it?
They hacked OSU’s Director of Videography (George Momirovic) Dragonfly account.

Dragonfly is (or was) the SaaS cloud company that makes the software that allows players to view footage on their iPads and coordinates schools exchanging their game footage. I don’t know specifically if that’s STILL the company, but they were the standard 10 years ago.

It’s been reported that OSU withdrew from their cloud provider for hosting video content over the summer, which lead many to believe that former UM OC Matt Weiss’ firing for computer crimes were related.

If the coaches do stick around, they lose 2 to 3 every year, without their cheat code.
Harbaugh is gone. I don't think there's a more p.r. obsessed university in the country than tsun. They won't want to do it probably, but they will. And unless something happens real quick, Harbaugh won't wait for a whacking. There's no way that egomaniac comes back and lets himself get exposed with a bad season because Sergeant Stallone isn't on his sideline. Chance that Simple Jim is coach by the end of January is about 2%.
