I think they helped South Carolina knock off Tennessee and Clemson because they wanted to make sure they would get in the playoffs even if they lost to us.
That works as well.

Desmond Howard having the ability to breathe makes me hate scUM even moreI am going to blame Scum vicariously for Desmond Howard's use of "big nothing burger". It makes no sense, and it makes me hate scum even more.
I wonder how much money JJ McCarthy will lose because NFL teams can't trust his ability to read defenses.I wonder how much money some of these kids lost because of match-fixed tape existing.
Ono stepping up and doing what's right, consequences and internal politics be damned, is the least likely thing that's going to happen. With all that has been revealed and is yet to be revealed in the next two weeks, with the advantages Michigan has gained and which may yet to be fully exhausted, with the clear animosity that is being generated on all sides - I find it difficult to envision what it would look like for Michigan to take the field in Happy Valley in two weeks.
This is an increasintly crazy world. These events are unprecedented. I would be genuinely concerned for the well being of Michigan players (perhaps concerned is not the right word). And I would certainly be concerned for the safety of OSU players in Michigan Stadium.
Multiple people within the sport have referenced serous compromises to the very integrity of the game. If all we are hearing is true - in particular the recent post from 11W - what is the argument that Michigan should be allowed to continue their season?
To discuss it in the context of how well they have played and how badly they have beaten their opponents, to talk about what is at stake in terms of championships, completely misses the point.
The NCAA can't do it. The Big Ten can. Santa Ono can.
(I'm pretty worked up. Just had to post this and see how it read.)
More revealing news on ttun would MAKE our weekend!THis ain't PSU guy. Bring that shit on!
I guess maybe Harbaugh never directly communicated with Stallions, like that SI piece claims he said in those leaked texts. But Harbaugh sure as hell knows who he is. There's no way a head coach is letting his coordinators take advice from a random staffer if he has no clue what is going on.
Grab a fresh cold one and settle in. The good shit seems to drop between 4-6 every day.How sad is it that I am bored because nothing else worthwhile has dropped today?
Remember when we just used to focus on who OSU was playing this week? Good times. Good times.
You mean lose because they got caught, not because he can actually read a defense, right?I wonder how much money JJ McCarthy will lose because NFL teams can't trust his ability to read defenses.
I don't really care how much money he will lose, but I still wonder.
I’m just so confused on all of this. All I know is “lack of institutional control” would be an understatement.
Everyday at 4pm something rolls out and it’s like “wtf!”.
All I know is the NCAA is moving lightning quick as they should. Because as I said this is the biggest coordinated effort to cheat that sports has ever seen. Ever.
Not just football but any sport.
The level of desperation to win is staggering.
They just need to cross the border to THE and don the Scarlet and Gray.I'm getting old and soft because I think about the young Michigan fans who have to watch their favorite team get wrecked by the NCAA and potentially hurt their love for the best game on earth in college football.
I thought I saw something about the NCAA didn’t question any coaches because all the coaches were out recruiting.Looks like a rampant culture of lying going on at scUM.
