I know someone else posted it, but I'm just now watching it. It's a day old. But Eisen doesn't understand why M*ch*gan would cheat. He insists that they're good enough to win all these games. He doesn't draw the obvious line that the cheating is why it appears they're that good.

When you know that your employee is embezzling money from your company, but HR won't let you fire him, yet, do you keep giving him money to spend on his project, or do you move him into a role where he can't touch any more money while you build your case to fire and then prosecute him? I don't think the Big Ten needs to do something today or tomorrow, but very soon they have to decide about whether they can let M*ch*gan represent the division in the conference championship game. And it can't be after they've won the division - it has to be before.

With all that has been revealed and is yet to be revealed in the next two weeks, with the advantages Michigan has gained and which may yet to be fully exhausted, with the clear animosity that is being generated on all sides - I find it difficult to envision what it would look like for Michigan to take the field in Happy Valley in two weeks.

This is an increasintly crazy world. These events are unprecedented. I would be genuinely concerned for the well being of Michigan players (perhaps concerned is not the right word). And I would certainly be concerned for the safety of OSU players in Michigan Stadium.

Multiple people within the sport have referenced serous compromises to the very integrity of the game. If all we are hearing is true - in particular the recent post from 11W - what is the argument that Michigan should be allowed to continue their season?

To discuss it in the context of how well they have played and how badly they have beaten their opponents, to talk about what is at stake in terms of championships, completely misses the point.

The NCAA can't do it. The Big Ten can. Santa Ono can.

(I'm pretty worked up. Just had to post this and see how it read.)

I'm with @BB73 - make them forfeit their four conference wins before the story broke. That knocks them out of winning the B1G and making the CFP. The other teams want to play their scheduled games - give them an opt out like was given to Sparty - but don't just take games away from them because of these Cheaters Up North Towards Saginaw.

Then you have time to decide about 2021, 2022, and future sanctions.

Stupid defense. Nixon didn’t need to cheat. But he did.

Barry Bonds was already a hall of famer

Pathological people are pathological

Any info on how--despite a legal five year commitment to serve on active duty after graduation--Sergeant Stallone was on tsun sideline after four (graduated 2017; showed up at tsun in 2021)? Was he such a fuck up that the marines didn't even make him serve out his commitment before dumping him?

Per an earlier article, he paid for tickets to travel from CA his last year of service / first year with scUM.
Privilege of being a dirtbag officer.
Being Logistics, he also has no real purpose. A trained rat could do his job.

Yes. Messing with games they weren't playing in to try and gain a favorable result. (South Carolina v Tennessee angle)
I'm not sure they feared Tennessee enough to prioritize knocking them out - this could have been more of a horse-trading transaction. Providing signals to their SC contact so they could possibly save their jobs or look better to future employers in exchange for inside info on any SEC playoff teams. Kind of in line with WyldStylz claims of a network in multiple schools and sort of like Sumo wrestling cheating (where large teams let each other win in less important matches) or short stop cheating (where they give away their own teams pitch signals to other short stops at bat to help each other's batting averages). I saw somewhere yesterday an allegation that every Sunday the big ten sign stealers on most teams call each other to trade info and I'm thinking michigan helped out their share of buddies at other teams on occasion.

Their fans can watch this

And then watch this

and then STFU about how good they were without stealing signs.

One point I'd make, as it relates to the rest of the season.....I'm not on board with others who think this years remaining games are compromised because of the recordings already taken. Teams absolutely have the ability to switch up signals or even go away from signals altogether if that paranoid (it wasn't that long ago QB's would run to the sideline every play, or a player running onto the field as a sub, had the call to give to QB). That isn't ideal for Ohio State (who likes to push pace and get aligned quick but there are options.

The problem is time.
Purdue has less than 2 weeks to change their system, while preparing for an opponent who should be better than them.
The cheaters, meanwhile, get all their practice time just to prepare.

Maybe that should be part of the punishment. scUM has to sacrifice 50% of their practice time each week. And opponents get a few extra hours.

Saw this on X the other day and knew they were lying because you're not on there.

I will have to preface this statement to say I did not watch a lot of Tenn last year. Isn't the issue with Tenn is that they would go really fast on Offense. Fast enough where Michigan would not be able to interpret the sign and make the call in time to change the Defense.

I think they helped South Carolina knock off Tennessee and Clemson because they wanted to make sure they would get in the playoffs even if they lost to us.
