This has to mean this would be an elimination game for sure. Winner moves on to keep the dream alive and the loser basically is done.

I really like the draw for OSU as a 10 seed. It's everything you could hope for as an OSU fan after the disastrous first 14 conference games. First a high stakes, revenge game vs Iowa where the loser goes to the NIT. I feel like that's a game OSU should win, and it would be a notch in their belt to help make the tourney. Plus it's in the evening so I know I'll be able to watch it.

Then if you advance, a chance for a high quality win vs Illinois in another revenge game. I did want to see OSU avoid Purdue until the final, as they are clearly the toughest out. So a possible game vs Nebraska (or Indiana) in the semis would be just peachy. Love it with the way this team is playing.

I like the revenge aspect because in our other options our opponents would be the revenge seekers.

Really love how Coach D has turned this team around. Proud of the players as well. Playing hard and playing well right now. Hoping the trend continues.

Hell naw. This team is playing with a ton of confidence, they believe in themselves & can beat anybody in the B1G right now. Playing a 5th game would have been a handicap that would've hurt their chances to go all the way. The chance to get a marquee win vs Illinois is big. I just wanted them to get a 1st round bye and not have to face Purdue until the finals (at worst).

No shit! Let's win this damn thing and walk into the dance with a trophy!

Big Ten coaches just added more fuel to the fire. Not a single Buckeye voted better than Honorable Mention All-B1G by the league coaches. The coaches put Rienk Mast on an All-Big Ten team instead.

These guys were already highly motivated to take Minneapolis by storm, no doubt, but this snub adds a little extra.

No doubt. The way OSU is on a roll right now, it's hard to fathom them losing to this Iowa team. Of course the general perception is the game is a tossup. I'm definitely planning to bet the Buckeyes. I feel like this is gonna be a game where OSU handles them.

Would certainly enjoy watching the wild ride. Whatever Diebler is doing, he's solidifying his resume for a HC job. Don't envision tOSU's new HC wanting to keep his potential replacement on staff, and/or not even taking the job if Bjork 'requires' it? And given the state of mbb recruiting at tOSU, cannot see that Diebs has been much of a recruiter. Maybe I've missed something, but the flow of 4-5*'s to Buckeyeland has been pretty sparse. Let alone having them sign up. I'm leaning toward the Florida Atlantic dude.
