2022 Rose Bowl, tOSU vs Utah, Jan 1st @ 5pm EST, ESPN

I think up the middle it's 3 guys to beat out; Matt Jones at guard, and I would expect Wypler at Center again and bringing Harry Miller back at guard.

I think our offensive line will be better next year than this year, IMO.

Excited for starting role for Matt Jones and likely re-emergence of Harry Miller.

Add Donovan Jackson on interior and we have a solid 6 man rotation (that includes Wypler who is prob least exciting to me).

But we will have some road graders to go with anchors at end of line on pass pro. Would love to see an experienced OT in transfer portal though.

Paper thin bro. About to find out who is Ohio State material and who isn't.

Vimahi was listed as a guard coming out of HS, was a top ~100 kind of guy but hasn't cracked the lineup yet.

I don't know them all that well but Fryar, James, Leroux and Touant have been in the program going on 3 years now and I don't recall ever seeing any of them play. Only Toutant and Leroux were listed as Tackles coming out of HS. This group would also represent the outside the top 500/developmental guys we've heard so much about being part of Stud's recruiting strategy and not really fall back guys. We are about to rely heavily on Stud's developmental superpowers it looks like. Hope people were right about them.

Jackson and Christman were top 100 interior guys. Michalski was a development guy.

Tshabola was a top 100 recruit, a tackle and a true freshman this fall. Fitzpatrick was ~300ish and Henry was a total project.

So going by recruiting listings as Tackles (national rank)

Class of '20: Toutant (#463) Leroux (NA)
Class of '21: Michalski (#314)
Class of '22: Tshabola (#114) Fitzpatrick (#329) and Henry (NA)

1 fringe top 100 guy in 3 years
3 guys in the 300-500 range
2 guys who weren't even ranked

Is there a more dire looking position group on the roster?

All the op outs came to fruition, then Olave as well. We've finally hit reality on that note, top players won't play if we're not in the playoffs. Can't blame them and nothing but love for Wilson, Olave, Garrett and NPF. Go make your money and thank you for everything you've done for our program.

As to the game, it really doesn't matter if we win or lose. Just get the guys coming back next year ready for next year. If we win, great.
