I'm hoping Sensabaugh isn't hitting the freshman wall. For a while it seemed like he had to carry them which is a lot to ask of a freshman. Hope he gets his second wind for the rest of the season.

Too soon old, too late smart
The Rutgers game was probably one of the best games have seen this season. Ebb and flow, back and forth, didn't see any quit anywhere - from either team. Clutch baskets, missed opportunities on defense, Rutgers outplayed tOSU down the stretch. In the OT, it appeared that the Buckeyes on the floor were intimidated, and didn't want to shoot. Rutgers upped their D and were on their assignments very closely. Couple of nifty assists by Rutgers, our 'help out' style backfired -looking at you Zed, and Sensabaugh, leading to easy baskets after tOSU worked their buns off to score on the other end. As I said, seemed like tOSU was afraid to take a shot, and just passed the ball back and forth, with a low percentage shot to beat the shot clock the result. Haven't looked at the stats yet, but prelim thought is that overall second half shot percentages are looooow for the good guys. When #4 fouled out, that took away our reliable 3 ball. Do believe that everyone was doing whatever they could to win. Also believe that Holtmann had the right personnel on the floor at the right time.

The last :30 of that Purdue game hit them right in the brain... It's like Mavericks jet lag crisis and until Holtmann can pull them out they're spiraling.

This season is going down the tubes in a hurry. 10-8, 2-5 in conference, and still have road trips to Illinois, Indiana, TTUN, Iowa, Purdue, and Sparty on the schedule. 
Next up, home versus Iowa on Saturday. Hope for the best.

Losing to Nebraska is unacceptable. I'm maybe a game or two away from checking out for the season. I care more about hockey anyways, and both those programs are ranked in the top 7.

This is just UGLY right now. legit hard to watch. Like at this point this team is on par to be just as bad if not worse than that last Matta team.

Hell, add in hanging on against Purdue and they're 13-5/5-2 and probably ranked. Problem is, they aren't winning these games. They just can't seem to get out of their own way.

So it seems like maybe some of those blown games against UNC and Purdue have led to the bad losses.
Very fragile bunch right now. And not likely to have things go their way anytime soon.

It's a team full of freshmen. Their mental game isn't there yet which completely affects their physical game. They abandon the concepts too easily and resort to an AAU style of play which is not going to cut it unless you're a 1 and Done
