2022-2023 Ohio State Men's Basketball

These have been 3 high energy games.. in 3 consecutive days...
Whoever had the great idea to make a team go 4 in a row is evil... then have Purdue at the end of that rainbow
Bracket maker assumed no one from a 12/13 seed was making it to the semi's anyways...
How much do they have left in the tank? They have redeemed themselves...

Well, heck. Carb up fellas! Ice baths, stim pads, whirlpools, sleep, whatever it takes. Fully expect tOSU to leave everything out on that floor. That's what they do. One doesn't climb a mountain to take a nap 50 feet from the top, does one? Hopefully Bryce (Brice?) can play without endangering his knee(s) for next year. Very pleased to see the other players step up and do some things normally not done (Sueing 3 3's?!), and Thornton asserting himself driving the paint! Edey might have something to say about that one, however. Drive on in, jump into him on the lift off, and draw the foul......get him in foul trouble and Purdon't is vulnerable. Go Bucks!

For the last time this season, Ohio State men’s basketball coach Chris Holtmann held his weekly radio show.
. . .
In case you couldn’t listen to the show, which also featured assistants Jake Diebler, Mike Netti and Jack Owens, here are the highlights.

"WE HAVE TO OWN ALL OF OUR STRUGGLES, WE ALSO HAVE TO CELEBRATE THE FACT THAT OUR PLAYERS TURNED THE CORNER AND FOUND A WAY TO REALLY GALVANIZE AND BE POSITIVE IN THIS CLOSING STRETCH."– CHRIS HOLTMANN

The Buckeyes rallied around one another, internalized the messages from their coaching staff and everything started clicking soon after.

“I think it was player-driven. I really do. I think players had to make a decision,” Holtmann said. “‘Are we going to stay together, are we gonna trust each other, trust what’s being communicated, are we going to commit ourselves to that? And I think they really did. … Listen, I think in these situations, we have to own all of our struggles, we also have to celebrate the fact that our players turned the corner and found a way to really galvanize and be positive in this closing stretch. And it certainly was proven in our play.”
