Sumbitch, the Cash Out is $25.00 but it's blacked out. I have to try and catch it while the game is live. Shit, at this point I'd just let it ride.

Regardless of what happens next game, it’s an encouraging finish to a bad season. Great for the young guys who come back. I want, want, want for Holtmann to have a breakthrough season next year. Guess we’ll see.

Gonna go to class a little bit so this might be long. Lemme tell you what we are seeing.
Remember, that first couple games and the tournament in Maui where our upper classmen were killing it? We'd get a little here and there from Brice but we were nails the entire time and Justice Sueing was a man possessed. Zed was doing Zed things and McNeil burned the nets down a bit pulling up on fast breaks. Likele was unstoppable to the basket and dishing at just the right times. Thornton was a little shy. Roddy was a mistake waiting to happen and Felix was timid against some big tough opponents.
As the year went on, those guys started to defer to the freshmen. Brice did a lot of 1-on1 and got crazy hot and Thornton passed Ike as the guy at the point. By deferring, the upper classmen lost some of their mojo and at times, all of it. Once Ike took time off and Zed got hurt we had no identity at all other than Sensabaugh making something happen or the occasional 3 from McNeil and others. The skid happened and confidence went in the shitter. We had no one to take charge and make the thing go. Coach was probably drinking heavily because he couldn't sort them out either. Then, Thornton had a mental break-through. The A-Ha moment that the floor general needed to take charge. Gradually we moved the Offense into more motion in spurts. Okpara decided he'd had enough of getting abused and started abusing. Thornton and Brice were working some chemistry magic and the last 3 weeks of the regular season we had a lot of fight again.
We started getting open shots again with guys driving the hoop and Defense leading to Offense. This tournament started and they just decided "To Hell with it. Let's go win it!" The biggest change now is Sueing. Did you hear the 'POP' when his head came out? Confidence is brewing and now the freshmen are gelling with the upper classmen. We are dangerous as hell when we are shooting well and the Defense has been stellar leading to more and more opportunities. Brice sits out. No problem. EVERYONE stepped up and here comes Roddy MF'n Gayle! Whoohoo now we got an entire starting unit making plays. And guys off the bench are coming in busting their asses and making plays also. Having fun again. Confidence is sky high but now we have to fight mental and physical fatigue. One thing is for sure, everyone better hope Purdue beats them tomorrow or we just might see some serious magic.

So, if we finish off that Purdue game earlier on, we would be 17-17 right now with another Q1 win on top of what we've done elsewise. Firmly on the bubble I would say and a win tomorrow would put us in it.
