Michigan has now beaten 2 teams from the MAC and four Power 5 teams who have lost a total of… drum roll please… 16 games.
Meanwhile, let's look in on the DFBIA...

It won't get any better after the play Northwestern next week either.

Probably beating NW by 30+ at home will only escalate the fools gold false hope.

Had family members (in-laws) last night rave about how Georgia will win the natty because SEC...then told me this is the year TTUN beats Ohio State. I went out back and drank way too many Silver Bullets instead of dropping FAX and Evidents on them.

Most are UC fans too so there was a helping of that shit.

I didn't know UC had real fans. The only "UC fans" I know are people who live in/near Cincinnati and want to see them do well. Like, say you lived in England somewhere and didn't really care about Soccer or Futbol or whatever, but the local team starts doing well. You might start cheering for them this year because it'd be cool to see a championship there. But then if they lose, you're back to really not caring. I thought that was 90% of UC's "fanbase".

I spent 24 years in the military. I met fans from all over of almost every team. I met one (1) Cincinnati fan in the entire time and he wasn't what I'd call diehard by any stretch. Of course this was back in 2002-04(ish), when they were typically a 7-5 team at best.

For frame of reference, I knew two Wyoming fans and even a couple of Utah and Utah St fans.

You’re partially correct. Your description is true for their football fans. And to be fair, they didn’t have football fans until Brian Kelly got there. Prior to that, Nipper had better Hs game than college. Heck, I remember being in college, and bringing some friends home who were from NYC and never saw a somewhat big college stadium, and we were able to literally drive onto the Nippert field and play toss for over 30min. No security or anything to stop us. Heck, there was a time when you had to buy football tickets to get basketball tickets because UC was traditionally a bball school.

The city is all about UC basketball. Huggins ran the city’s college sports scene for years, and his players did whatever they wanted. And I’d wonder if they kept Huggins if they’d even be successful in football other than dumb luck, but then never pay the coach to keep Huggins happy
