scUMs 22 & 23 OOC schedules are complete laughers (Hawaii legit is the "toughest" team they face either year). If they don't pick up 3 easy wins each year, they are in big trouble.

Hell this years is a laugher too, A loss to Washington, who seems mediocre at best at this point, would be a baseball bat to the knee cap.

Naturally this brings out some fun commentary from the favorites over at GoBlow, who are on a roll today once again.

I'll take whatever win we can get at this point.

Yeah sorry but I can't get excited about a high profile OOC game when we aren't even sure if we can beat Rutgers/Maryland, let alone Penn State, Wisconsin and obviously Ohio State (and Michigan State for that matter).

I mean, I get that drubbing a directional school doesn’t make for the most exciting game, but the way things have been going - it’s nice to get a couple more Ws

Love this path.

Get the win.

More tix sold by season ticket holders means I can bring my kids to a game.

If you're Jim Harbaugh and Warde Manuel, there is zero benefit to scheduling good teams.

If you're a fan, there is zero benefit to bitching about Jim Harbaugh and Warde Manuel not scheduling good teams.

Mixed with the great falsity that "most P5 OOC schedules look like this". Maybe most of the SECs but yea.........

Not only no P5 but 5 of the 6 teams have been downright awful of late. Hawaii is the only one you can honestly say is a program in decent standing.

Oh I know, that photo doesn't do Sophia justice.

In the interest of fair posting........

Guys, I hate to the throw a wet blanket on this discussion, but I don't know if these photos are appropriate for the scUM thread.....

I mean, the pics are of actresses who were relevant far more recently than scUM has been.

I love how they're a 3 or 4 loss team every year. It's funny enough when that means 8, 9, or 10 wins. But in a season already shortened to 8+1 games, they STILL lose 4 games. And the only reason it wasn't more than 4 losses is because they cancelled the last 2-3 games.

I've shown the numbers to support it before but they have averaged a 3+ loss season for something like the last 50 years and before any of their idiots say that's just because RR was so bad it hurt the average, the mode was something like 40 of the 50 years they had lost 3+.

I'd have to go dig it back up but, appropriate for their brand, if anyone of their fanbase thinks they have ever been a consistent NC caliber program (since the cessation of hostilities with the Japanese Empire) they are delusional.

I'll just take their word for it on how bad ass they were 90+ years ago.

Looks like they got the unmoving object DT from Oregon State

Appears his only other FBS offer was from UAB. Big "W" there!

Also still carrying on the false narrative that "we cant get any good transfers cause AcAdEmIcS"

Michigan really only has a shot with grad transfers, which this player is. Hard to convince someone to give up credits for the Michigan experience, Better to have someone who has proven he can play at Div 1 level even if he's a bit out of shape right now.
