Weird jab at Tuf in that article considering the LB play at times this year.

It's LGHL. The writers are juvenile a-holes that couldn't carry the jocks of anyone at 11W. I mean, the first dang paragraph includes the line, "That is why I'm here to help."

Aiden Hutchison is literally everything we thought Zach Harrison would be! This was one of the worst DLs I've seen from OSU in a while. All those former 4 and 5stars looked overwhelmed

Everything that kind of surfaced throughout the year came to a head at the biggest moment. D-line went missing, penalties, linebackers got mangled, o line was 100% finesse, and couldn’t tote (be physical) running the ball.

"Fire fucking everybody" is kind of a meme. In most cases, it's a split second overreaction that dumb and spoiled fans use as a crutch.

However, there are cases where it is not that. This has kind of become one of those. For two years running, and really, 3 out of 4, this has not been anything close to a Buckeye Defense. No Silver Bullets. We get beat at the point of attack, we miss tackles, we get smoked in the secondary. It keeps happening and the recruiting hasn't been at a level where you can say we need help with the "Jimmys and Joes."

There needs to be a house cleaning and then we need to identify the absolute best Defensive Coordinator available, write a big check and tell him to assemble a staff that can give Ohio State the kind of defense worthy of putting on that uniform. No more half measures.

I love LJ, but his DL has been subpar for 2 straight years. He's going to be 70 next year, I gotta wonder if age is creeping up. He's still recruiting like a bastard, but it ain't translating to the field.

Bucks allowed over 250 yards rushing twice this season. No surprise, those were the two losses.

Some things about football don't change. Stopping the run, or at least slowing it down, still matters.

I love LJ and he is hell in recruiting. But it was Bosa and Bosa and Young… those guys were going to be incredible no matter what.

that being said the bigger problem is at linebacker. the gap there to an even average OSU LB unit is really wide

Somehow the old guys have adjusted better than many of the new....Knowles would be great, Jon Heacock is DC at ISU, has a ton of experience and is an Ohio man which would make it a bit easier to get him to flip to the good guys.
