This exemplifies what you’re saying. They didn’t run the play to that side, but both players made the shift confidently after communicating. No overthinking a simple motion anymore lol.

The first clip... how was that not recorded as a sack? He dropped back to pass and didn't pass the LOS.

I think also what's helping us is we haven't showed these things maybe since 2019 and even in that year we didn't do much cover 2. So now teams have to plan for every coverage and not just 1 or 3.

Had the same thought. But then I remembered in the Akron game, they credited Sawyer with a sack on a designed run.

Add it to the below list.

What is a…

Catch
Targeting
Sack

It's really all about the pressure. We haven't been getting the "official sack" but the pressure has been getting better and a lot of that has been since JTT and Tyliek are getting more snaps. Sometimes the pressure is better than a sack because it leads to shit passes and we pick them off. Example, this last game. Just keep the pressure up whatever it takes.

Exactly... yeah if their qb takes 3 other sacks a few days ago we then don't get the 3 INTs.

A number of missed tackles today but overall the D played really well. They seem to have settled in, we are getting more pressure on the QB, LBs are playing better and we are getting a good amount of turnovers.

This may have been Zach Harrison's best game to date. Really impressed with his play today.

Yeah, still some things to clean up, but given where they were just a couple of weeks ago, the turnaround has been exceptional.
