I was so confused how the 1 seed was playing the 3 in the semis. Apparently they do east and west seedings? So weird. The 1W is still alive, but I do believe the overall 1 was North Texas.

Illinois might be the dumbest conference champ I can remember. Turnovers and fouls.

They get by on pure talent at times.

This conference is so weird. I’d swear no team is actually good.

I don't think I've ever been more irritated watching a team than I have this Illini team this year....it's so fucking infuriating I'm almost ready for it to be over...losing to that Indiana team is unforgivable.

I'd swear Georgia is intentionally bad at hoops. Accidentally, they could do more than they do - two sweet 16 appearances in program history?

I'm so old I remember their lone Elite Eight/Final Four team (1983). It was the year AFTER Dominique Wilkins left and they beat Michael Jordan to get there.

Agree totally. Not saying UGA should be a basketball power, but with the proximity to Atlanta and large instate population, we should be a bit better than 6-24 (1-18) or whatever the fuck our putrid record was this season.
