And now the jump shots are falling. Purdue has all the makings inside and outside, plus a superstar in Ivey, to be a title contender.

Their tournament history looms over them though. 42 years since a Final Four appearance.

(Although Georgia football just broke their own 1980 drought this year).

LSU restructured his contract this past offseason to make it easier to fire him with cause if anything came from the investigation.

pretty sure they knew this was always going to be the end result.
but hiring a coach during an ongoing FBI and NCAA investigation would not have been easy.
Now that we’ll likely know the penalties before the next hire, it will be a little bit less difficult.
