2021-2022 College Basketball Discussion

Agree totally. Not saying UGA should be a basketball power, but with the proximity to Atlanta and large instate population, we should be a bit better than 6-24 (1-18) or whatever the fuck our putrid record was this season.

God forbid the Buckeyes go 6-24 in basketball. We've got a coach who wins 20 every year, in the shadow of our football program in a cold state with declining population, and folks want to fire him. We won the NIT when I was an OSU student and it was cause for celebration. Meanwhile, the football team went 9-3 every year, or worse.

Some don't realize how good we have it now. I'd love to be playing for NCs in both sports but those situations are rare and don't last long. Ask Florida.

At least your fans haven't started making music videos calling to fire him....yet.

For obvious reasons, me too

But I've been talking shit to some Barners I know and was keeping an eye on that game.

I know how much you love Auburn, and figured that you might want to know.

i loved basketball back in late 80s through most of 90s.
just don’t care for the way the game has revolved and got bored with it, so no longer really pay attention to the college or pro game.

I was only 12 then, but I really liked it in the early 60s:

Looks like you might have even more reason to not watch basketball for a while:

Will Wade out as LSU men's basketball coach, sources confirm
https://www.espn.com/mens-college-b...wade-lsu-men-basketball-coach-sources-confirm
Will Wade is out as LSU men's basketball coach, sources confirmed to ESPN, in a move that comes days after the school received a notice of allegations against the program.

LSU has been under investigation as part of the FBI's inquiry into college basketball recruiting that became public in 2017.

A source said that Kevin Nickelberry will serve as the team's interim coach.

CBS Sports first reported that Wade would no longer be LSU coach.

But yeah, that aside, I do like how both the college and NBA game was played more in the 90s than it is done today.
