2021-2022 College Basketball Discussion

Illini about to make a run that is actually detrimental to their NCAA Tourney hopes?

I’m sure their fans don’t care - not sure I would. They’re having fun on this run and got their first Regular Season title in 17 years. Enjoy it.

It seems there's no consistent theme to what a CTT run does, or doesn't do, to a team. We can cite examples of every kind of result.

They're most beneficial to a team like Indiana this year: a bubble team in need of a couple wins to get their foot in the door.

The biggest issue is health. If you head into March missing key players your chances are going to be reduced. That's true for every team.

IU putting teams into 5+ minute FG droughts in 3 straight halves of basketball.

Mich had about 8-9 minutes, Illinois had 9 minutes in first half and over 5 minutes in 2nd half. Crazy.

Woodson put his boot in their ass at halftime yesterday. Whatever he said worked.
