scUM has a really favorable schedule this year. They have to play @Ohio State but besides that they get Wisconsin and Ped State at home. Their other conference road games are fucking Rutgers, a gutted Sparty and a Minnesota team who is replacing like their whole defense.

There’s really no excuse for them not having at least 10 wins heading into the Ohio State game.....but they likely won’t and some of DFBIA will still be right there to back their savior

They have a 4 week run of

Each of those teams have their flaws but Jimmy's boys are breaking in a new QB behind a new OL themselves. Three of those 4 teams are on par with tsun in talent and the Pig House isn't that big of a home field advantage. I certainly don't see them winning all 4 of those games and if they play the whole schedule, I don't see them magically walking into UW with a day 1 new starting QB and winning.

This is a sneaky little stretch before The Game. Very easy to get complacent and Schiano is laying in the weeds somewhere in the swamps of Jersey with about 80 transfers. That is almost instantly not going to be as easy as it used to be. Maryland is the new Illinois under Zook, sooner or later they will Zook someone. IU always gives those shitstains fits on offense.

Not likely they lose one of those but tsun simply isn't that much more talented or better than half the teams on the schedule pre-OSU. That makes them toss ups and Jimmy just isn't good enough to win every toss up game.

History says they will likely lose 3-4 by the time it's all said and done (The Game and Bowl Game included).

Shortened conference only schedule, SimpLLLLLe Jim is looking at 3 loss best case scenario, four loss probable, five loss possible. Throw in a trip to Seattle in a full season, and you can add another loss to each scenario. I'm going to enjoy every fucking second of it.

But they lose 3-5 games "the right way" and isn't that what really matters?
