They can spin this any way they want, but it seems to me, or anybody else with a triple-digit IQ that harbrau simply doesn't have the pull to attract any decent assistants at this point. It's only mid-January, are they trying to tell me that a program with the resources of ttun can't do better than an internal promotion for a guy with zero positional coaching experience who has only been an assistant s&c coach? And they are desperate need of recruiters, so they can only manage to get a guy that doesn't even recruit? One of two things is going on here...anybody worth hiring doesn't want to coach on a sinking ship, or harbrau simply doesn't understand what they need to do and is just making comfortable/easy hires. Neither option bodes well for their program.

Just a little more on Tank Wright; this guy was an assistant s&c coach. Strength and Conditioning. That is a program that has regularly been cucked it the trenches the past couple of seasons and gets bombed in the second half of most games against good teams. There was also the famous dancing weight room video. Their s&c program isn't something that appears to be a strength. But harbrau, in his addled brain, decided to promote an assistant from that department to actually coach his defense.

You can't make this shit up.

You might not think the dance video was a strength, but I found it to be one of the greatest things that I've ever seen.
