Rumor on _goboard that they're hiring much-maligned former Ped Aggy, Tennessee and Mississippi State DC as an assistant. First post in the thread says he's an "elite DC." He's had one good defense, 2018 at Miss. State that had 3 first round picks he inherited...it fell off a cliff in 2019...other than that he's overseen defenses that ranged from very mediocre to terrible. Fanbases at ped aggy and tennessee hated him. DFBIA gonna DFBIA. Also, he's not a good recruiter.

Many of them have been clamoring for rainman to being Devin Busy, Sr. on staff, but apparently he's close to taking a position on Kiffin's staff at Ole Miss.

Sure is raining shit on the DFBIA lately. You hate to see it.

He's the defensive version of Jim McElwain, Tim Drevno, and Pep Hamilton. People will try to spin this as a good hire but it's not. When you lose two of your best recruiters and you replace one of them with a noting burger in recruiting (Steve Lorenz confirmed that recruiting is NOT his strong suit) it's simply not what the program needs right now. No amount of coaching is going to make up for the talent deficit between OSU and UM right now, recruiters will though. Harbaugh just doesn't fucking get it and couples with Allen Trieu and Steve Wiltfong's comments yesterday on their podcast I doubt he ever will. We're stuck in purgatory of 3 loss seasons and annual ass kickings to OSU. And all it costs us is 7 million a year.
