It finally dawned on me, Jimmah may indeed be RainMan in terms of his mental condition but when it comes to comparisons, he's Wile E Coyote.

Think about it;

inflated sense of his own intelligence, constantly fixated on an opponent he's O-fer against.

The satellite camps, HS coaches hired for recruiting, family members getting jobs, European vacations...those are his bag of Acme products and

it's all blown up in his face with hilarious consistency

Beep Beep motherfucker. You'll never win.

Linebackers coach Al Washington, a rising star in the profession, regarded as a dynamic recruiter, departs after one season for a lateral move to OSU. Even with ties to the Buckeye program, it's a surprise and another huge coup for Michigan's rival.

In fact, the players send a message, not electing senior Shea Patterson captain.

"There wasn't a lot we could do because Shea was our starting quarterback, but we wanted to let him and our coaches know we weren't happy with his work in the summer - both Joe [Milton] and Dylan [McCaffrey] outworked him, and then Coach immediately went against our decision and named him a captain," a recent departure shared. "Guys weren't happy."
"From the moment Shea arrived, he was treated differently, like he could never do anything wrong," another recent exiting player shared with WolverineDigest.com. "Wilton [Speight], John [O'Korn], Brandon [Peters] would all get chewed out for things that they just looked the other way with when it came to Shea."
U-M loses three underclassmen to the NFL Draft, again not unexpected, but according to a friend of wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones, the DPJ camp was worried Michigan would not "put him in the best position to showcase his talent, just like they did with Jabrill Peppers and Rashan Gary."

According to the friend, those guys got drafted because of their freak athleticism and potential, as Peoples-Jones will, and not because the staff utilized them in a way that allowed NFL scouts to see what they're capable of.

So, they have Wile E Coyote as head coach, but he can also be considered a Daffy Duck.

I think Don Brown can let that 'stache grow some to immerse himself into the Yosemite Sam role.

They had Kwity (Tweety) Paye and Jabrill Pepe le Pew.

I can see their current recruiting efforts:

Perhaps a diminutive (Speedy) receiver from Mexico.

Perhaps a thin but very quick WR from the desert of Arizona (Anthony Carter had the legs for this).

Perhaps a wild linebacker/safety hybrid from an island just southeast of the Australian mainland.

I'm not sure where Bugs, Elmer, Foghorn Leghorn, and Marvin the Martian come into play.

Foghorn Leghorn = SEC fans & media

Marvin the Martin = Lane Kiffin

Elmer = Les Miles

Bugs = Ryan Day

EDIT

Changing my vote for Marvin The Martin to PJ Fleck

This summed it up well

View attachment 24430

the rest of the thread is pumped in sunshine i.e "it happens to all the good programs so then we must be good too. See!!" kind of logic.

DFBIA is going full frontal these days.
Yeah. Good programs have coordinators that go on to take HC gigs. Quick, name the last tsun coordinator to get a HC gig. Struggling? That's because it was Mike DeBord following the 1999 season. TWENTY YEARS AGO. He went to Central Michigan where he went 12-34 over four seasons. Losing position coaches in lateral moves or to lesser programs isn't a sign of a strong program. It's a sign that the coaches see your program as a dead end.
