"Those who stay will suck"Well, to be fair, lack of talent and mediocre coaching is a big part of why scUM struggles to be elite.
scUM players constantly running their mouths certainly adds to our enjoyment of their struggles to be elite.
People misread that quote. The most prepared man in the draft iirc

Why can't Milton be as good or better than say Connor Cook?
Cook RS'd his 1st year, played a little his 2nd and then was a 3 year starter (average completion of 57.5%, 71TDs and 22 INTs). Ran a 4.79 40 for the NFL Combine?
Milton has a better team around him (much better OL, better WRs, similar RBs), same level of competition (although no cupcakes this year), better OC... Maybe that's his floor?
Wasn't that John "No, John, no!" O'Korn?
Ummm.... Did you completely forget about John O'Korn?
“Honestly, I think I’m the most NFL-ready quarterback in this draft just as far as terminology, and knowing what to do on a day-to-day basis, game-planning,” O’Korn said Friday. “I was part of the game-plan meetings with coach Harbaugh, coach (Pep) Hamilton, the whole staff, coach (Tim) Drevno, all last fall, so just on a day-to-day basis what it takes to be an NFL quarterback, I think I would choose myself over any other guy in this draft in that regard.”
Now... never mind that he went undrafted. Developed There.
The Wolverines have appeared in 17 bowl games since 2000, going 5-12. Rutgers has appeared in nine bowl games since 2000, going 6-3.
Welp, they stomped what I thought was going to be a solid Minnesota team.
