"where only his guy could catch it..." except his guy couldn't catch it, either.

Insert picture of the freshman Buckeye getting a toe down in the endzone. Only Fields's guy could catch that one.
Insert 20 other passes by Fields on Saturday, even his one incompletion - only a Buckeye could have caught any of those.

I'm not impressed with "throwing it where it can't be intercepted". You know who else was good at not throwing it where it can be intercepted? Joe Bauserman. It's tough to intercept a pass that's 10 rows up in the stands.

Good morning,
A man who threatened to shoot fans during a 2018 football game has been sentenced to a year and one day in prison. Daniel Rippy, who sent the threat via Facebook Messenger, was determined to not be a danger to campus because Rippy sent the message from California.

Yeah but they have these things called commercial jet airlines.

Milton was "ok"......I guess he didn't turn the ball over but besides that was basically just a game manager, since Minnesota could not stop the run. Lets see what he does when he actually has to make throws to win.

Watched the first quarter and most of the fourth of Michigan at Minnie. The first thing that struck me was how unprepared BOTH teams were to play. You can write some of that off as "first game of the season" mental issues, but as it went on I began to have real doubts about PJ Fleck. Enthusiasm has its limits and it's no substitute for coaching.

At the same time, Michigan took a stupid personal foul, gave up a blocked punt, and had no one near two receivers either one of whom could have scored Minnie's first TD.

As the game went on, Michigan clearly won the trenches. In the end, I had a feeling that PERHAPS Michigan is better than any of us thought they might be. After all, they have had the second, third, or fourth-best recruiting classes in the conference the last four years and they're not losing their juniors to the NFL like certain teams that wear scarlet and gray - and lots of three stars are still better than what Fleck has been able to attract to Minnie.

Are they a threat to take the East this year? Hmmmmmm, Sparty has fallen off a cliff and Penn State may have been looking to this week instead of worrying about Indiana. I can't see any way Michigan is not 2 - 0 by the end of Saturday. They could well roll into Columbus 7 and 0. But their talent gap is still there. It could be tight for a half but in the end, the Bucks look to be much the better coached and prepared team.

If scUM doesn’t roll over Sparty they are definitely unprepared. I don’t care if it’s a “rivalry game” Sparty will be lucky to win a game this year (and it would be Maryland) they are horrid.

IDK about “clearly winning in the trenches” when it came to their Dline though. If you go by overall stats for this game yea, but Predictably it appears that the interior of their dline is once again a issue. Better Olines are going to totally push them around.
