The enormity of Ohio State's first round seems to have sunken in a bit this morning, and many of them have jumped past denial and anger to the depression stage.

the 5 star draft results thread is amusing as all fuck

The scorching rays of truth have started to penetrate the bedrock after all these years.

Turns out 4-5 star recruits are better than 3 stars, QB play is crucial and Jimmy sucks at developing QB's.

I'm guessing they figure out the strategy of taking mediocre edge rushers and moving them down inside is sub-optimal for creating a good DL.....in about 4-5 more years.

But what if they have dudes. Not just any dudes, but Massachusetts dudes.

3Star Arbor adds another resident:

https://247sports.com/Player/JaDen-McBurrows-46052133/

#44 CB, #580 overall in the 247 Composite.

From the Ministry of Excuses:

He's current an 85 by their reckoning, which is low three-star territory. Rivals has him a high three-star. Defensive recruiting isn't looking so hot right now: at #580, McBurrows is the highest-rated of Michigan's four defensive commits.

Remember when “just grab whoever you can from Florida because being from that state makes them better” was Purdue’s go to strategy? Or was it Illinois? I honestly forget, but definitely company Michigan wants to be in to achieve similar on-field success.

Also, being listed at 5’10” 165 means he’s actually closer to 5’8” I’m assuming.
