At this point, I just hope Tua plays again anywhere except the backyard with his kids.
As for the culture at Bama, it's not just Saban. A kid two years older than me played LB for Bear in '73, used Dianabol "unofficially" to add bulk and was dispensed some kind of pain meds more less as post-game ritual, likely codeine or morphine, by team doctors.
He still played, despite having knee and rotator issues leading to more pain meds and steroids and a nasty drug called Butazolidin.
He ended up getting his scholarship yanked for "having issues with drugs." Yeah..... issues like a blown liver.
Some of Bama's best years, however.
