I was looking at the roster the other day and noticed a few players’ updated weight. It seems that some have packed on quite a bit of muscle. Maybe Day likes bigger players? As long as those guys can keep their speed, I like it! There’s speed, and then there’s big speed.

One player I noticed with a significant weight increase was Baron Browning. He’s listed at 248 now. Then I saw a pic of him today and he looks every bit that big, if not bigger.

Our schedule is brutal. But we are not alone in having a Big Ten brutal schedule. If the winner of the Big doesn't get invited to the playoffs it will be because of Big Ten cannibalism. We are the team most capable of surviving a brutal, long schedule in the Big. But our record will probably be worse than last year with a better team.

Pre-season paper rankings mean nothing as far as telling a schedule. I remember last year that scUM was supposed to have such a hard schedule going into the season and there were at least 5 losses pegged from many fans before the season, only to see them lose only to ND and OSU in the regular season. I can see the Buckeyes going undefeated, I dont see much teams with as much talent as osu on the schedule. And I dont see coaches and players having complacency like at times under Meyer
