Yes, it's absolutely the worst rule in football. It's a dumb rule that solves no problems. I've heard people say it's to prevent players from trying to toss the ball forward to score, but you don't see that in the field on 4th down. It just isn't a problem. I'm surprised more coaches don't call on this rule to be eliminated.
