agreed. i hate the rule. it's beyond dumb.

I agree. And that ball was much further beyond the goal line than it was beyond the sideline. It was more a forward fumble than sideways.

I'd be more sympathetic to the 'indisputable aspect if it was actually followed consistently. But it almost never is.
