Where is he loyal to a fault? He acted pretty quickly and decisevely when the D needed an overhaul three years ago. I don't think it was unreasonable to give Warriner/Beck two years. If those two are still in the same role next year, you have a case, but I don't see giving somebody two years as unreasonable.Urban's issue is he's loyal to a extreme fault. He gives people multiple opportunities to right their wrongs and yes it can cost him sometimes.
Hey I agree with you but when you're trying to beat the Alabama's of the world you can't afford to wait too long.Where is he loyal to a fault? No, you can't. But I don't think two years is too long. We were never supposed to be in this position this year, so I'm sure he saw it as a chance for them to prove everyone wrong with a young team. If it didn't work out, you move on with a loaded team in 2017. That's exactly where we are. We just went further than we really had any business going this season.Hey I agree with you but when you're trying to beat the Alabama's of the world you can't afford to wait too long.
And I agree with that sentiment. I think many (myself included) are up in arms with just how bad we have looked against good defenses. We have won many games the last two years because we flat out are the most talented team in the big ten. I'm not expecting 56 every week but I'm tired of seeing us destroy shit teams to inflate numbers and then we can barely get 200 yards total offense against teams that can swing back. No, you can't. If anything, you now know you are probably just the right OC from getting back to the top. We're pretty damned spoiled as a fanbase when an 11-2 season and a playoff apearance as the youngest team in FBS has us up in arms.

Not dangerous when you don't have a semblance of an offense in the first place. It's just dangerous to be booting coaches so quickly. Very easy to lose any semblance of an offense that way as well.
Change is a must, no doubt. And us having one of the three best coaches in the sport (in my IMO) leads me to believe it'll happen. And I agree with that sentiment. We made some errors hiring in the past with withers and now this year's offensive staff. Much like the loss to Clemson in the Orange Bowl though I find it necessary for these games to generate change.
Issue is no one in the NFL is going to want to take him as a OCSeems like ol Chip is already with an OC job... It's not in college, but.you never know
