I actually think that Georgia and TCU both have a great shot at winning. They both lost to the teams they are playing away in their house and now both will be playing said teams in their backyard this weekend.

Payback is a bitch and I think at least one of them gets it done if not both.

It would be like us having a rematch with Penn State while playing in Philadelphia. I don't know about you guys but I would want none of that

It will either be Georgia or Auburn in the top four. No way they both make it. And so regardless we are still in great shape if we can beat Wisky. Especially if it is a convincing win.

Michigan State will most likely move up a spot or two to make it in the top 15. If we beat Wisconsin, that will give us 3 top wins to Alabama’s 0.

Alabama gets in if TCU upsets Oklahoma or Ohio State beats Wisconsin, but not handily.

One Upset:
Miami beats Clemson, higher ranks win their Conference Championships.
Auburn v. Miami

Georgia beats Auburn, higher ranks win their Conference Championships.

Oklahoma v. Wisconsin

TCU beats Oklahoma, higher ranks win their Conference Championships.

If Hocutt meant what he said about teams 5-8 being very close to each then this reads like Bama's screwed regardless of what happens in the B1G Championship. Only way the Tide get in is if TCU beats OU imo.

I will say, it would be hard for the committee to ignore having 3 wins better than Bama's best win. And a conference title.

That's what I'm thinking too.. yes we have 1 more worse loss but we have 3 better wins so it's a wash.

Then you move to conference champions? Yep we are and they aren't so we go.

A team that is outside the top 4 and who is idle will not benefit while a team who wins their conference championship against #4 doesn't.

As Kirby said 5-8 there is basically no seperation. So in what world does beating #4 mean someone else goes to the playoffs? I don't think so

Just win your conference Buckeyes. That should always be the goal every year anyways. But, all the NC chase makes everyone look to far down the road. IMO that was part of the Iowa problem——-we beat Penn State so we are in!!!

This is normally a distraction but much like 2014 I think our boys know what needs to be done. They need to make a statement and I think we will.

He’s a fucking gump what’d you expect. His clamoring about losses and actual wins is just hypocritical. All you ever hear out of his fuck face pie hole is “but who did beat...but they’re not SEC quality wins...blah blah blah”.

Always makes me chuckle. Just a few weeks ago UGA is #1, looking great all year, gets beat handily by Auburn and manages to plummet all the way down to 7th. Bama looks suspect many games all year, has no good wins, gets beat handily as a #1 vs Auburn and magically only falls to 5th. What a shocker. Sadly this is exactly what I expected and have been saying, Bama is being judged on past reputation not current team.

Still hope though, but the boys gotta worry far more about just winning Sat and let the chips fall where they may.
