Put me in the cautiously optimistic camp for this season if Holtman can get these guy just to play a little bit smarter and harder. They were in almost every single game last season......2 losses by 1, 3 by 2, 1 by 4, 1 by 5, and 3 more by <10. Take away a turnover here and a missed assignment there and they could have easily had 5 more wins.
Of course.....their 7 B1G wins weren't exactly blowouts, so they pretty easily could have had 5 more losses, too.

Impressive scheduling. Haven't played the Bearcats in the regular season since 1921. Tressel had more balls than that. I'd like to see Xavier and Dayton once in a while, too.

Oops, good point. I looked it up, and you are correct. It was in Indy, though, so who can be expected to remember that? At Cincy hasn't happened in a hundred years. Don't know last game in Columbus.
