The way I see this game is as followed.

I feel Alabama's offensive line isn't anywhere what it was a few years ago and IMO we will have seen better offensive lines this year from Wisconsin/MSU. In saying that though we haven't seen anyone like Cooper and he will give us all we can handle but I feel if we can get a pass rush on Sims we can limit Coopers damage. Look for #2 for Alabama to have a big game as we concentrate on Cooper... I feel this is one of those games where you concede that Bama' will get there's through the air with Cooper/#2 but you cannot let this team run on you. Stop the run and limit YAC for Cooper and their Wide outs because that's where they do their damage is on missed/broken tackles.

On offense I think we need to establish our interior running game to set up the edges. I will be disappointed if we try to attack their edges early because they will hunt and track that down. They are too athletic to go wide on if they are sitting on it but if we hit them through the middle of the defense with some dives to Elliot then that counter/option/zone to the outside can open up as the game unfolds. I think you have to exploit Depreist in pass coverage because as I said this weekend he's a lot heavier (fat) than I ever remember him and to me Alabama has always had heavier looking LB's so we need to attack them with our speed and hope we catch them in a bad match up.

We have a pretty good edge in Special teams and like I said I hated this matchup out of all the matchups that were possible. Alabama can flip the switch and play smash mouth then hurry up to the line and go 5 wide and because of that they are a tough team to get a handle on. I think they are no where near what they were a few years ago on defense and up front on offense which is great. This game will probably again boil down to two things... LOS and turnovers. If we win those I like our odds and if we don't (particularly the LOS) then I don't like our odds.

For the record I think Oregon is going to get worked by FSU. Oregon has no physical nature on defense and lack the running game they have had in the past and I feel Cook (#4 for FSU) is going to have a field day on them. If I had to pick today I think FSU vs Bama in the final because I feel Bama' just has a level of maturity that maybe we don't have yet but if we can score such as Auburn did I know our defense is light years better than there's and we will win. It's just can we move the ball and SCORE at a good enough clip because Alabama will get there's on our defense even though we are playing our best on that side of the ball right there. At this time I'm thinking a 38-31 game or something along those lines... If we can hold them under 28 points I think we will win

I feel the same way and FSU finding a power run game with a very nimble and home run threat Cook is a very dangerous combo going forward. Having the defense have to stop the run first will make the passing game with Winston, Greene, O'Leary, and Rudolf that much more successful.

FSU's pass defense has been questionable all year. Mariota could have a field day with FSU's secondary.

That's not our defense at all. Im not sure where you got that notion from. Skip down to the scheme and read there.

I think he was referring to one aspect of your defense, not necessarily a philosophy or scheme. He also probably heard Gary & Verne wax poetic about how this is the greatest collection of pass rushers that Saban has ever had (not that any praise from them is reliable. I don't dispute the claim, I just put no stock in anything they say).

Main key in my mind is at the end of the game, I think we should plan on having more points than them. Do this, and I like our chances.

I want to take Jimbo Fisher out to the woodshed and rip him a new peace pipe. He is the scourge of the football world and I want him to be crying for mercy at the hands of our Buckeyes. Only way to do that is to get through Bama first. I don't really mind Bama like many people on this board do... but they are between us and our goal... standing on the same train tracks that Wisconsin was.

Buckeyes, don't show the world that you belong in... show the world that Bama DOESN'T.

Field position, penalties, turnovers - Win in these areas and I like our chances. We can't put ourselves in bad situations and expect to win. I think we have the talent to match up.

There is much talk about Bamas DL but our OL is playing as good as anyone right now. MSU and Wisky's DL were suppose to overwhelm us. They turned out to be underwhelming. And that is because of our OL. Will they rise to the occasion once again?

You are forgetting one important thing about Wisconsin. Fuck Bucky
